  35. I can only grope in the dark and guess what you mean.  Do you have two
  36. computers with a Kermit program on each one?  And a file created by the
  37. scanner that you want to transfer from one computer to the other?  If so,
  38. it's a straightforward use of Kermit: Start Kermit on A, Make the connection
  39. from A to B, log in to B, start Kermit on B, transfer the file.  If you
  40. don't know how to do that, consult the documentation for each Kermit program.

  46. Or... are you trying to "capture" the incoming scanner bytes from the serial
  47. port?  I doubt very much that the scanner supports Kermit protocol, but I have
  48. no way of knowing for sure.  Did the scanner come with documentation?  What
  49. does the documentation say about how to get scanned material into a computer
  50. through its serial port?
